Living in Love beyond Beliefs
Abba Theophilus, the Archbishop, visited a desert monastery. The brethren who were there said to Abba Pambo, "Say something to the Archbishop, so that he may be edified." The Abba said, “If he is not edified by my silence, he will not be edified by my speech."
Silence, meaning more than just being quiet, is not the absence of communication, but a more subtle form of communication. Silence communicates Itself. Words born out of Silence carry the nature and potency of Silence. Speak, then, from Silence, and you will have something truly helpful to say to help our world.
